Instructor professional development (PD) clinics allow active instructors to maintain their Paddle Canada certification. The focus of these clinics is the enrichment of instructor skills. They are not an assessment of instructor performance. It is an opportunity to share, learn and grow as professional paddling instructors.
Objectives:
- Provide an opportunity for active instructors to maintain instructor status.
- Introduce new program changes and present innovative teaching strategies and ideas.
- Review teaching benchmarks, best practices, evaluation and assessment.
- Provide an opportunity for instructors to improve paddling technique and teaching ability.
