A weekend safety course that has a strong focus on ocean paddling. An excellent introduction to sea kayaking and our most popular course! Includes a two-hour rescue clinic in the Mount Pearl pool, a stroke development clinic, a day trip along the southern shore, lectures on kayak safety, weather interpretation, kayak design, equipment and navigation.
