Safe Kayaking Level 2 Intermediate Course format for this course has changed from previous years. In 2010 the Newfoundland Kayak Company's level 2 course will be run as a 7-day sea kayak expedition in the Bay of Exploits. During the 7 day expedition you will participate in challenging rescues, a night navigation, a rolling clinic, surf and current training, stroke development, and lectures on safety, kayak design and equipment, tides and currents, navigation and trip planning. Dates: August 7 - 14, 2010 Tuition:   $745 + $100 if kayak rental required Location:   Bay of Exploits, NL. Prerequisites:   Paddle Canada Level 1 or equivalent Includes:   Certification, course manual, group equipment and meals for the week. Excludes kayak, personal equipment and transportation.
